Independent coffee shops are sprouting up all over Liverpool in the UK. One particular cafe is 92 Degrees Coffee.
Liverpool has developed an intense relationship with coffee over the last few years. Independent coffee shops are sprouting up all over at the moment and there is a beautiful culture arising in the city centre. One particular place springs to mind when thinking about great independents here though. That place is 92 Degrees Coffee.
The cafe is situated in a building of fantastic architectural beauty, and equally interesting history. Over time, this building has been a specialist school for the blind and a police headquarters for the people of the city. So, it’s fitting now that it continues to serve it’s people well; with some superb brews.
You can enjoy a tasty coffee here whilst lounging on an array of comfy Moroccan leather and reclaimed wood. It’s a real cosy hideout just shy of the busy part of town. But what about the coffee? Well, the location doubles up as a Roastery, so these guys really know their stuff!
About 92 Degrees
The brews are made in small batches and there’s regularly new ones to try on the menu, in several different brewing methods. Columbia to Guatemala, to Kenya. From cold brew, to pump espresso to filter and swan neck pourer there is something for every kind of coffee drinker here. We recommend the Cortado; a delightful drink of strength and smoothness.
If you like to lunch with your coffee there’s always fresh food & cakes made daily on the menu. With Bagels sourced directly from the city’s Bagelry just down the street, they have to be tried. With Salmon and cream cheese if you’re lucky enough to get one before they sell out!
All in all, 92 Degrees is one of the best chill out spots in the city and a must visit when travelling here.
