What Instagram had not shown me was another travel highlight in Rothenburg ob der Tauber – Cafe Einzigartig or, in English Cafe Unique.
And this name is really perfect for the cutest and most beautiful cafe I have ever seen or visited.
Cafe Einzigartig is located in the Galgenstrasse 33 in Rothenburg ob der Tauber – a gorgeous town in the southern part of Germany. Learn more about what to see and do in Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
It was recommended to me by a local and so I made my way to the cafe which is located in the old town of Rothenburg.
While I stumbled upon it in the evening I got a glimpse of what to expect – the cafe was closed already and so I just looked through the window but I liked what I saw.
The next morning I was looking forward to enjoying great coffee and cake – so I entered the cafe and was in love from the very first minute. This cafe is indeed unique – if you are only into super modern furniture you will not like it, as it is extremely comfy and cozy. The design is a country house style with many, seriously many, little details like signs with cute quotes. It is stuffed but in a beautiful way!
While I was not able to pay by card, only cash is accepted, I could not order cake as I did not have enough cash on me – and so I had just one coffee! You can get black coffee, cappuchino or Latte Machiatto (coffee with milk and a lot of milk foam) and if you are vegan you can even get soy milk with it!
This drink was great, but I am sure the atmosphere did its part!
