Looking for a chilled cafe to do some work in London, then check out the The Ship of Adventures, London? There’s heaps of coffee shops around – but finding somewhere that’s not too crowded, full of screaming kids, or with staff that want to turn the tables over every hour, can be tricky.
And even as a British-born girl who lived in London for 5 years – I’ve wasted hours, trying to find the ‘best coffee shops to work in London’.
Until I stumbled across The Ship of Adventures. Dalston’s quirky pirate coffee shop.
Yes you read that right.
A coffee shop that’s designed like a pirate ship.
It may not be your normal coffee shop but the coffee’s good – and they’ve got a tasty menu too (I like the peanut butter, oat & dark choc chip cookie).
The prices are pretty reasonable, and the vibes are so chilled. There are plenty of plug sockets, the wifi’s good, and the staff are relaxed – so it’s easy to bash out a few hours work here.
If you want to get your head down, you can sit on one of their individual small wooden tables. Or if you go with a friend or fancy being more sociable, you can choose the communal table in the middle.
Not only is it cute and cosy – but they also sell local art and stationary, which can make a nice birthday present or souvenir.
So if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and quirky – embrace your inner pirate and head to Ship of Adventures now.
